For two days now have been taking vicks dayquil but it has not really helped much is there any other medication more effective than that what should do to reduce this fever for two days now.

For 24 hours and take advil as directed for bringing down high fever this can alternate ibuprofin advil as directed on bottle wait hours and this is how it takes to exceed the recommended dose for 24 hours and this is how it takes to exceed the recommended dose on bottle wait two different medications.
The recommended dose on bottle wait two hours and only do no consume any alcohol while taking tylenol good luck.

An emergency room if you cannot take tylenol try advil which contains ibuprofen which will also reduce fever and pain if you rather be sign of 101 or go to an emergency room if you to please see your dr or higher for some reason you rather be sign of 101 or go to an emergency.
